- 2 hours of online learning, which must be completed before the classroom session
- 4 hours of face-to-face practical training at Penzance Madron Scout Hut
Course Overview
This blended learning course is ideal for workplaces that require an Emergency First Aider, as identified through a first aid needs assessment. It meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
Learners will gain the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond confidently and effectively to a range of emergency situations, enabling them to become a designated Emergency First Aider within their workplace.
Who Should Attend?

- Individuals designated as workplace first aiders
- Businesses needing to meet their minimum workplace first aid requirements
- Anyone wishing to gain essential, life-saving first aid knowledge and skills
Participants must be at least 14 years old. To act as a workplace first aider, learners must be 16 or over and considered suitable by their employer.

Physical Requirements
Learners must be able to get to the floor unaided and perform CPR on a manikin at floor level.
