Combining two key units—First Aid Essentials and Management of Illness and Injury in Activities—this comprehensive course goes beyond basic life support and covers injuries and illnesses more likely to be encountered during active pursuits.

Course Duration

  • 12 contact hours (over 2 days)
  • Includes practical and theoretical activities
  • Day 1 aligns with the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification

Assessment & Certification

  • Continuous practical assessment by your course instructor
  • Successful learners receive a Level 3 Activity First Aid Certificate, valid for 3 years
  • Annual refreshers recommended

  • Minimum age: 14 years
  • Learners under 16 may not assume First Aid duties in the workplace—employer discretion advised
  • Max group size: 12 learners per session
  • Delivered in Penzance and surrounding areas, or on-site for businesses and groups
