This comprehensive Level 3 Paediatric First Aid course is designed for anyone responsible for the care of babies and children in the UK. It meets the statutory paediatric first aid requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and is fully compliant for Ofsted-registered settings.
The course is accredited by FAA through Nuco and regulated by Ofqual, giving learners a nationally recognised qualification and the confidence to respond effectively to paediatric emergencies.
Course Format & Duration
This course is delivered as a blended learning programme, combining flexible online study with essential hands-on practical training.

Online theory: Complete at your own pace before attending the practical session

Practical training: 1 full day of face-to-face training (minimum 6 hours)

Total learning time: Minimum 12 hours (in line with EYFS requirements)
Qualification
To achieve the full qualification, learners must successfully complete both units:

Unit 1: Emergency Paediatric First Aid

Unit 2: Managing Paediatric Illness, Injury and Emergencies
